Saw No Country for Old Men and although it was well directed keeping
the viewer at the edge of their seat I didn't care for all of the
symbolism.
I turn my attention to Atonement and Michael Clayton. Atonement is not
what many were telling me. I enjoyed the format of the story telling,
but never connected with the story itself. It would make a better book.
Michael Clayton was up to par. This was some of George Clooney's best
work. The story was well written and the list of big stars attached to
this production ensures its success. This is definitely one to see.

So be it that it is sneaker month, we should go over how many shoes you should own. If you are a sneaker head like me you need to think about what type of shoes to own rather than how many you should own.

So the DC Volcano was the brain child of the 2094 collaboration between New Era and DC. This model is boss. I have posted the green and blue jay ones, but this is even better. DC did an artist project with Lemar and Dauley and the creation is to the left. All I have to say is, black and white houdstooth tongue...nice.

Lets talk fitted straight leg jeans. I have been answering a lot of questions about buying these types of jeans and what brand to get. My ultimate pick right now, throwing it out on the table, is RVCA's Romeros. The price point is good at around $60 and the fit is spot on. If you are a skinnier dude like myself, this is the jean to get. Get the dark rinse.

Rob was rocking these before he took a dip to get speedy claxton. Who goes turtle poaching, but I guess I have now seen everything.

Lets talk interior design. Urban Outfitters has some good and fairly affordable offerings these days. Saw this Lu Lu chair; the name doens't scream, "hey dude buy me," but the styling is top notch. It is a brown and black houndstooth with is ultra savvy and take a closer look at the tucked throw cushion. Very classic and sophisicated. It is modern yet comfortable and a great chair to pair with a solid couch in the living room. Get the brown or as they call it "espresso" legs for this chair, it makes it look more expensive.

Here is a solid time piece to add. Nixon makes the most legit piece out there. Since being bought buy Billabong a year or so ago they are in mode to take over. Well they kinda have to cause Billabong has set some ridiculous sales goals.

So here is another from big black security. I am still looking for the shirt that Black wore at lunch that was a spy shirt that said "Do Work." Probably was a limited, but it's out there.

What I hate to see is the hoodie and blazer look. The blazer has gone casual and can be worn with jeans, but wearing a hoodie takes it a little too far. In the off chance that this look is more functional in terms of warmth than look, I have the proper alternative to layering a blazer. Instead of a hoodie wear a full zip sweater with a mock turtle neck. Keep the look clean with the sweater and lose the messy hood sticking out from the blazer collar.
Welcome to 2008. Here is a solid look to start off new year. With it being winter, layers are a good way to add depth and texture to what you are wearing. Try pairing these two items together from Heritage. I would wear these with a dark wash slim fit pair of jeans and a black studed belt. You want to tuck the shirt in so it does not hang out under the vest. This look is inexpensive and sophisticated.
