Do not wear two polo shirts at the same time

So I was flipping through the tube and landed on the oh so famed show American Idol and saw this guy Chikezie singing. I couldn't help but notice this guy was wearing two polo shirts which is fucking terrible. Not only was he wearing two polo shirts, but the colors were pretty awful. This look is lame and I don't know why he has to wear all the polo shirts he has. The look doesn't help you and if you need another layer to stay warm where a long sleeve shirt.

It shouldn’t really be up to a woman to teach a man how to be a man, but sometimes, a little advice can’t hurt. This is not a typical “chivalry is dead” kind of rant, that’s long gone. This is really about having some basic manners. Unfortunately today, etiquette is a lost art. It is even more apparent in today’s youth. Now, you young men out there, unless you like other men, chances are that one of your main purposes in life is to have sex with a lot of chicks. With that said, why not enhance your chances? Say it with me now, enhance your chance. It even rhymes, remember that easy little phrase. Any woman can open her own door – no big deal, but if you stepped in to do so, they will take notice. Why, you ask? Well, because of a little thing that all guys are afraid of – comparison. I don’t even have to say the number of things that guys are afraid women would “compare”. And we do. So, if you want to maintain some sort of self-worth as man, open a door or two, it doesn’t hurt. She will remember the next time some other guy “does not”, and give him the disgusted and disapproving look instead of you. Hence, enhance your chance.
Perhaps you are thinking that something as stupid as opening doors, or not cutting her off out of the elevator (Napoleon complex tendency) is too simple a detail, but details are what women like. Most women, who have maybe had a peek into what a “healthy” relationship is like, would probably say it was the “little things” that made her happy. I’m not necessarily talking about generic things like flowers and cards, but genuine gestures that really show you care, or at least have manners. Saying gesundheit is an easy one to start with. It’s non-denominational, non-committal. If you are in a relationship (obviously you already got her, but if you want to keep her) how about taking out the trash when you aren’t asked, whether you live together or not. Even between friends, a guy offering to take out his female friend’s trash (even once or after a party) shows some kind of manly prowess. Don’t get me wrong, being a slave to your woman is not what I mean. It’s about making that gap between being a man and a boy widen. It’s about not complaining like a little bitch, and being above it all. So, if she is happy, that means she is in a good mood, which means she might be more inclined to…exactly.

Now, I am not belittling women or making them seem like simple and easily pleased creatures, you guys know better than that. Our complexity keeps you on your toes, and admit it, some of you like the abuse. Yes, it can sound like a lot of work, but it takes a lot of work from both sides. Just think of how much effort you guys put in just to A) bang a random girl for a night [if she is not that drunk], B) try to start dating a girl you actually like, or C) keeping a girl happy in your current relationship. It really is God’s work.

Another thought that might cross your mind is that you don’t need manners all the time because you’re not always around, go to school with, or even work next to a female that you’d want to have sex with, but there really is something to be said for creating good habits. It also goes back to the whole “comparison” thing. The girl you don’t want might have a hot friend that you haven’t met yet. Guys never think ahead enough. My point is not for you guys to go around and dupe women all over the world with fake good manners just to get laid. It might start some sort of fight club like chain reaction that I just can’t be responsible for. So, just be genuine about it. There is such a thing as women’s intuition, and some of us can spot a liar from a mile away, so just keep it real.

The true lesson in all of this is having some sort of self awareness so that you don’t look like a child in front of her, then she might want to have sex with you too. Maturity and understanding will naturally lead to better manners in your everyday living. It might even make the world a better place. So the next time you open the door for a girl, she might send a little smile your way, and think to herself, “hey, that guy’s not a douche.”

V-Day getaway

Valentines Day is around the corner, and for some guys it is the dreaded holiday that has so much anticipation and can be draining on your bank account. This doesn't have to be the case. The next 2 weeks Commercial Mix is going to give you tips on how to handle V-Day.
